5 Brainstorming Tips

----------

5 Brainstorming tips to help you come up with some fresh ideas:

  1. Preparation

Start by writing down the main idea. Identify your subject and set the main goals for the brainstorming session. The next step is to clear some space and ensure your environment is clean with no disruptions ready to happen.

  1. Find your method

Weather you prefer mind mapping or listing down points, using a rainbow of colours or prefer sticking to one shade, make sure you find a method that you are comfortable with.

  1. Take note of every idea

No matter if you think it is a good idea or not, write it down. “The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas.” – Linus Pauling. Plus it usually takes a few bad ideas to warm up to a good one!

  1. Do not drag it along

A good brainstorming session should not last longer than an hour. Keep it short and snappy.

  1. Snap it!

At the end of the session snap a photo of the board with all the diagrams and doodles. Store it to help you with future purposes.

There you have it, 5 brainstorming tips that will help you get your creative juices flowing!
